The next event and one of the most fun is our tractor drive from New Market to Bedford. We will line up by the water tower and leave. The route will be from New Market south to Siam, then east to 148, then north to Bedford to eat at the Junction Cafe. The return trip will be from Bedford, go north 3 miles to Windmill Lake road, which comes out at the south side of New Market. As last year, Dean Goudie has put a lot of effort into planning the drive and it will be a lot of fun, so be sure and attend. If you don’t have a tractor to drive, be sure and meet us in Bedford and eat with us. All this weather permitting.
There are a lot of people with a vast knowledge about antique tractors. They may not be experienced speakers and talking during our meetings is very upsetting to them. I don’t mean asking the speaker questions and helping him with his presentation, but the problem has been talking to the person sitting next to us and not paying attention. Again, this not only makes it hard for the speaker, but distracts the rest of the audience, so please try to hold this to a minimum. We will continue to do our best to have enjoyable, informative programs for the meetings.
